The Soca Warriors star striker described the range of emotions in his side's thrilling 4-4 group-winning draw with Mexico.
If any player in the exciting contest Wednesday between Mexico and Trinidad and Tobago had a night to remember, it was Soca Warriors striker Kenwyne Jones.
The big forward’s play in the second half was instrumental in his side’s reversal of fortune, storming back from 2-0 down to take a 3-2 lead as Jones scored a goal and set up the other two tallies.
Then minutes after Mexico leveled the contest 3-3, Jones appeared to go from hero to goat as a cross redirected off his foot and into his own net to seemingly sink the Soca Warriors’ dream of an upset that would give them Group C.
