The former Manchester United captain says the PSV Eindhoven defender's tackle, which resulted in a double leg break for the England international, was not a foul.
Hector Moreno's leg-breaking tackle on Luke Shaw was a “brilliant challenge,” according to former Manchester United captain Roy Keane.
Shaw, 20, suffered a double fracture of his right leg in the clash with PSV Eindhoven defender Moreno during United’s 2-1 Champions League defeat on Tuesday.
The England international is expected to be out for a long spell following an operation in the Netherlands, but Keane believes Moreno made a genuine attempt to win the ball.
