Jurgen Klopp Rejects Mexico Job Amid Ongoing Liverpool Rumours

Jurgen Klopp reportedly turned down the managerial job with the Mexican national team as his links to Premier League club Liverpool continue.

Secretary general of the Mexican Football Federation (FMF), Guillermo Cantu, said that former Borussia Dortmund manager Klopp was approached about the El Tri job, but he turned it down, per Marcaje Personal (h/t Goal.com): "We spoke to his representative, but he said he is on a sabbatical and it would not be possible now."

Klopp has been unattached since he parted ways with Dortmund after seven years at the Westfalenstadion in May 2015.
