The Swope Park Rangers earned their way into their second straight USL Final with a 0-0 (7-6) shootout win over the Oklahoma City Energy on Saturday night at Children’s Mercy Park. An 11 round shootout was finished off by goalkeeper Adrian Zendejas, who’d saved four penalties on the shootout (and a fifth had been shot over the bar). Also this weekend, the Kansas City Comets kicked off their 2017-2018 season at home against the St. Louis Ambush. Here are some stats and milestones from both of those games.
