Marc-Andre ter Stegen is celebrating tonight after helping Germany win the 2017 Confederations Cup in Russia.
Joachim Low’s side won the final 1-0 thanks to single first-half goal from Lars Stindl, as they saw off a spirited Chile side.
Chile dominated large parts of the game but could not find a way past Ter Stegen, who picked up a clean sheet and made some crucial saves.
Arturo Vidal went close for Chile in the first half before being denied by the Barcelona goalkeeper, while Eduardo Vargas had a great chance to equalise with 15 minutes to go but could not beat the German.
