Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that Manchester City should have been docked points for breaching UEFA's financial fair play (FFP) regulations.
Per Ian Ladyman of the Daily Mail, the Chelsea boss spoke of the overall ethos of City, who ran afoul of FFP last year and were fined £49 million. They were also hit with a spending cap.
He said:
When Manchester City pays off a £50 million fine because they exceeded the FFP, I think it’s unfair. FFP should be fulfilled and that's it.
[Clubs] should be punished with loss of points.
