Lorient Accept Aston Villa's Ayew Offer

Aston Villa are close to signing Ayew after it emerged Tim Sherwood's side have had a £12 million (€17 million) offer for the player accepted.
That's according to Sky Sports News, which suggested the player is closing in on a move to Villa Park after the Daily Mail's Simon Jones reported as many as six Premier League clubs were chasing his signature:

Should the move materialise, he will join older brother Andre in completing a Premier League move this summer after his sibling moved to Swansea City on a free transfer.
