The Costa Rican is set to be out for up to six months, leaving his future up in the air
Arsenal and Costa Rica's Joel Campbell has been handed a major injury blow.
The attacker picked up a right knee injury in his country's Gold Cup draw with Canada on Tuesday and has now confirmed that surgery will be required, leaving him out of action for up to six months.
"We will see what the doctors say, but it is a pretty big tear and I will have to undergo an operation," the 25-year-old told reporters.
