João Félix has not given up on his desire to return to Barcelona for a second season and has formally rejected a move to Aston Villa, according to Diario SPORT.
The Portuguese forward returned to Atlético Madrid for the start of his preseason but is training by himself as he is no longer part of Diego Simeone’s plans, and the Colchoneros were reportedly very close to completing a permanent transfer to Unai Emery’s side in the Premier League.
But Félix has said no and made it clear that he only wants a move to Barça, the same tactic that worked successfully for the 24-year-old last year when he joined the Blaugrana on loan.
