Barcelona president Joan Laporta is said to be considering bringing Mateu Alemany back to the club.
Relevo are reporting that Laporta is thinking about a reunion for Alemany who left the club in 2023.
Alemany received plenty of plaudits for his previous work at Barcelona.
The former sporting director helped bring in the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Jules Kounde and Raphinha ahead of a title-winning season.
Alemany was replaced by Deco and the report suggests Laporta would try to find a way for both men to work together.
Barcelona are hoping to return to the 1:1 rule this summer and it seems Laporta is hoping Alemany can return and work some more of his magic.
