Barcelona president Joan Laporta says the club are still hoping to return to Camp Nou this season amid speculation that the team’s return could be delayed further.
The original plan had been for Barca to head home at the end of 2024, but it’s now thought February is a more realistic target date.
Laporta has offered an update on the situation and hopes to have good news for fans next year.
“We are making the new Spotify Camp Nou a reality, which continues to advance with some imponderables,” he said.
“We will not return until the first phase of the Champions League is over, but we are working to have the right conditions.
