Barcelona president Joan Laporta has given another interesting interview to RAC1 where he’s spoken about Lionel Messi’s exit once again.
Laporta says he had hoped that the captain would offer to play for the Catalan giants for free in order to stay but admits he could never have asked Messi to do so.
“I didn’t get angry with Messi. I cannot get angry with someone whom I have such esteem and appreciation,” he said.
“But there comes a time that when both parties see that it will not be possible, there is a certain disappointment on both sides.
