Jérémy Mathieu might be injured, but he is not interested in giving up on a chance to represent his country in the most important international tournament of the year.
The Barcelona defender, who suffered a torn meniscus in a friendly with France and needed surgery, is now very unlikely to make the final cut in the host nation's squad for the 2016 UEFA EURO due to the short time between his return date and the France call-up.
He still believes he has a chance, though. And he is willing to work as hard as he can to play with his club and earn a spot on Didier Deschamps' list.
