The star attacker limped off in Leverkusen win Saturday but the team revealed he is back in training on Tuesday.
Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez is back in training after an injury scare, Bayer Leverkusen announced Tuesday.
The star attacker, who is fourth in the Bundesliga with 16 goals, was forced off in the 68th minute of Bayer Leverkusen’s 3-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday. Hernandez was limping when he was removed, prompting worry over his outlook going forward.
Leverkusen declined to update his status following the game, saying it would release information as it became available.
