Monaco vice president Vadim Vasilyev is backing Leonardo Jardim, who has signed a new contract, to build on a "remarkable" first season.
Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim has extended his contract with the Ligue 1 club until 2019.
The 40-year-old guided the Principality outfit to the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals in his first season in charge. It also sits third in Ligue 1 with two games remaining.
Jardim has now been rewarded with a new deal that will tie him to Monaco for at least another four years.
He told the club's official website: "I'm pleased to be making this long-term commitment to AS Monaco.
