Both teams enjoyed a positive start to the World Cup and will be looking to take a step closer to a place in the last 16
In this first of two Group H games taking place on Sunday, Japan face Senegal after both sides were victorious in their tournament openers against Colombia and Poland respectively.
Each side got off to a great start, with Japan deservedly defeating 10-man Colombia 2-1, while Senegal were very impressive as they overcame a very disappointing Poland side 2-1.
This group was viewed pre-tournament as likely to be the most tightly-contested pool and the early indications are that could prove to be the case.
