Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy was handed a straight red card during Saturday's Premier League match against Stoke City, meaning one of the team's top forwards will spend part of the holiday season on the sidelines.
The England international jumped into Mame Biram Diouf with both feet, and while he appeared to swipe the ball with one of his legs before making contact with the player, the official didn't hesitate.
Former Liverpool star John Arne Riise didn't agree with the decision one bit:
Vardy red card? No chance! Not even yellow!
