Former Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur captain Jamie Redknapp has been banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding.
According to the Liverpool Echo's John Siddle, Redknapp was clocked exceeding the 50 mph limit on the M25 in a Bentley, and he has been disqualified from driving as a result after meeting the 12-point limit under "totting up" rules.
The Sky Sports pundit pleaded guilty to the offence as he appeared before Staines Magistrates’ Court and was additionally ordered to pay a fine of £700, costs of £75 and an £80 victim surcharge.
