The former FIFA vice president has been accused of stealing $750,000 meant for victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake, according to a report.
Jack Warner, former FIFA vice president most recently known for using a headline from The Onion to defend the embattled organization and himself from corruption charges, took a giant hit to his credibility Tuesday.
Papers from United States investigators accuse Warner of diverting $750,000 worth of emergency funds, raised by FIFA and the Korean Football Association and intended for victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake, into a account he controlled for his personal use, according to The Guardian.
