Sergio Aguero has allayed fears that he sustained a serious injury during Manchester City’s 3-1 win over Southampton on Saturday.
Aguero was substituted in the 63rd minute at the Etihad Stadium after appearing to hurt his ankle, though Manuel Pellegrini later insisted that the change was merely precautionary.
And Aguero has now confirmed as such, revealing on Twitter that he merely sustained a “harmless bump on the heel.
