Filippo Inzaghi will be looking to get his coaching career back on track at Venezia after an unsuccessful spell in charge of Milan.
Venezia has appointed Filippo Inzaghi as the club's new head coach.
Inzaghi had been out of work since being sacked by AC Milan at the end of the 2014-15 season, but the former Italy striker will now look to get his managerial career back on track at Stadio Pierluigi Penzo.
Venezia has endured dire financial issues in recent years, but won immediate promotion from Serie D to Lega Pro last season.
The club was purchased by New York lawyer Joe Tacopina and a group of American investors in October 2015 and they have now set their sights on a return to Serie B under Inzaghi's stewardship.
