Buoyed by an impressive victory over the Netherlands, the U.S. goes in search of another notable scalp against Germany.
U.S. national team coach Jurgen Klinsmann wants his side to take heart from its win over the Netherlands when it faces world champion Germany in a friendly Wednesday.
Klinsmann's men came back from 3-1 down with 20 minutes remaining to beat the Netherlands 4-3 on Friday, thanks to goals in the final two minutes from Danny Williams and Bobby Wood.
Having seen off the third-place side from last year's World Cup, the U.S. now takes on the champions, who Klinsmann represented as a player and manager with distinction.
