Ahead of Thursday’s playoff clash with Toronto FC, the Montreal Impact players and staff are positive that the team’s experience under pressure will prove the difference.
MONTREAL — The Montreal Impact will host Toronto FC in the opening, do or die, playoff round on Thursday at Stade Saputo, but it won’t be the first time that the Quebec side takes part in an intense elimination game this year.
Having played through the entire CONCACAF Champions League knockout stage between February and April, the Impact have already had the opportunity of playing in front of boisterous home crowds and hostile away environments in Costa Rica and Mexico.
