Iceland has reportedly had a record number of births nine months on from beating England at UEFA Euro 2016.
According to Icelandic newspaper Visir (h/t The Independent), the country has had a record-breaking birthrate with epidurals—painkilling injections often administered during childbirth—reaching record numbers over the weekend of March 25 and 26.
Goals from Ragnar Sigurdsson and Kolbeinn Sigthorsson saw Iceland come from behind to beat the Three Lions 2-1 in the round of 16 as the country made a sensational debut at an international tournament.
