Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane will play no part in Liverpool's first game on their tour of the United States against Borussia Dortmund on Sunday evening.
In what is the Reds' curtain raiser for this year's International Champions Cup, Jurgen Klopp will be missing his star forwards - alongside Marko Grujic and the injured pair of Georginio Wijnaldum and Pedro Chirivella - when they trade tackles with the German outfit at the Bank of America Stadium.
Last season's 44-goal hero Salah and club's new no. 10 Mane, and Grujic only returned from World Cup holidays to join up with the rest of the squad on Friday morning.
