Barcelona captain Raphinha raised some eyebrows when he said in a press conference on Tuesday that the club’s ongoing registration issues could have an impact on future signings, and his coach has now responded to those comments.
Hansi Flick was asked about the Brazilian’s quotes and said he would sign for Barça “no matter what” if he was a player, and hopes that the situation will serve as motivation for the team to become even more united going forward.
“I don’t know [about Raphinha’s] comments, what I can say is that I am sure that when I was in this situation, I know the club and I know perfectly well what is happening, how immense this club is and the people who are around you, I think I would sign no matter what.
