Aleix Garcia has admitted he would have happily signed for Barcelona this summer if the Catalan giants had come calling.
The former Girona star was linked with a move to Barcelona during the season and admitted at the time he’d been happy to move to the club.
However, a deal failed to materialise and he has ended up signing for Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen instead.
Garcia has been asked about the speculation and says he would have been happy to sign for Barcelona.
“There were negotiations between my agent and Barcelona,” he told Diario Sport.
