Eric Garcia shared his thoughts on Barcelona’s win over Las Palmas and the hosts’ shout for a penalty in the second half.
Las Palmas wanted a spot-kick for a penalty for a handball by Eric Garcia in the second half but were denied after a VAR check.
Eric says the ball did hit his hand but also pointed out, quite correctly, there were two incidents that should have been penalised before he intervened.
“I was absolutely sure it was offside, and also at first the ball hit his hand, and then when he shot, it’s true that it hit my hand, but I had put it on the ground,” he told the media.
