Dani Olmo is living the dream. It took him a decade away in Croatia and Germany but the one-time La Masia star is finally back home at Barcelona and had an amazing debut, scoring the winning goal in Barça’s win over Rayo Vallecano in midweek.
The midfielder had to wait a while to play after the club struggled to register his contract, but once the green light came Olmo was ready to go and had a fantastic 45-minute cameo. Now he hopes to continue adding more wins, goals and assists to his name as a Barça player, and is ready to repay the club’s faith after they spent quite a bit to bring him back home.
