The 37-year-old, who first took charge of the Cherries in 2008, has been rewarded for guiding the side into the Premier League with a new deal that is believed to run until 2020
Bournemouth has announced manager Eddie Howe has committed his future to the club by signing a new long-term contract.
The 37-year-old, who made over 200 appearances as a player for the Cherries, first took charge of the club during the 2008-09 season.
He has since overseen three promotions to guide the club to the Premier League, either side of a brief, unsuccessful spell at Burnley between January 2011 and October 2012.
