Arsenal fans may have experienced a bout of deja vu on Thursday. Manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Jack Wilshere will be absent from proceedings for several weeks after getting on the wrong side of a heavy tackle in training, according to the Press Association (via the Guardian).
BBC Sports' David Ornstein noted the nature of the injury and gave a slightly extended time table for Wilshere's recovery:
