How Ovrebo and 'UEFAlona' crushed Hiddink's Champions League dream

With the Dutch coach on the brink of replacing Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, Goal takes a look back at the game which defined his first spell in West London six years ago.

Chelsea is on the brink of appointing Guus Hiddink as interim manager for a second time following Jose Mourinho's sacking on Thursday.

Hiddink's previous spell began in Feb. 2009 as he was asked to fill the void left by Luiz Felipe Scolari, who had failed to impress in his first season as Stamford Bridge boss.

The Dutchman's three month stint is best remembered for the Blues' hugely controversial Champions League semifinal exit to Barcelona.
