The MLS veteran moves to his fifth MLS team, heading south to Houston from the Montreal Impact in exchange for allocation money.
The Houston Dynamo have added MLS experience to its midfield, moving to sign Eric Alexander from the Montreal Impact.
In exchange for the 28-year-old midfielder, the Dynamo sent the Impact a mix of general and target allocation money. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We’re pleased to welcome a player of Eric’s quality to our club,” Dynamo vice president and general manager Matt Jordan said. in a news release “He’s a confirmed midfielder in this league, who brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success.
