Hope Solo's husband, Jerramy Stevens, came to his wife's defense on Saturday, calling her domestic violence controversy a 'witch hunt'.
Women's World Cup star Hope Solo was defended by her husband, former NFL player Jerramy Stevens, on Saturday when he said the controversy surrounding the USA goalkeeper regarding domestic violence charges are "unpatriotic."
"It is a witch hunt, you can put that in the paper," Stevens told USA Today, in reference to the ongoing saga that has kept Solo in the spotlight through Team USA's first two games.
Solo was charged with domestic violence when she allegedly punched her 17-year-old nephew in the face and tackled him during an argument at her half-sister's home.
