Hirving Lozano’s late goal earns Pachuca a place in the CONCACAF Champions League Final

Pachuca progressed to another CONCACAF Champions League final as they beat FC Dallas 3-1 thanks to a late Hirving Lozano strike.

The Major League Soccer side came into this game with a 2-1 advantage and made the brighter start at Estadio Hidalgo when Cristian Colmán forced a good save from goalkeeper Alfonso Blanco.

Pachuca were struggling to establish any rhythm as the challenges flew on Hirving Lozano, but with seven minutes to go in the first half, Franco Jara drove in a Jonathan Urretaviscaya cross to give the hosts the advantage.

Pachuca began the second half with purpose, but it was Dallas who could have retaken the advantage when Michael Barrios failed to connect with a Kellyn Acosta cross from point-blank range.
