FC Barcelona Femení thrashed rivals Madrid CFF by a whopping 7-0 scoreline, with four goals from Bárbara Latorre, to stay top of the Spanish league.
Real Madrid do not have a women’s team, but Madrid CFF are the closest to it. They wear all white and are based in the capital city.
“The Best” winner Lieke Martens opened the scoring, and English star Toni Duggan, alongside Macedonian Nataša Andonova, rounded the scoring apart from Latorre’s four goals.
Barça are on a roll, having beaten Gintra Universitetas 6-0 in the UEFA Women’s Champions League (with the help of a ludicrous miss from the visitors).
