City's foreign midfielder has faced a few hurdles in adapting to life in Australia
Frenchman Florin Berenguer put a difficult individual season behind him on Friday night as he impressed in Melbourne City's 4-1 win against Brisbane Roar.
The midfielder has struggled with injury since arriving in the A-League and coach Warren Joyce revealed he's also faced some real challenges off the pitch too.
Berenguer had previously spent his entire career in France and Australia hasn't exactly welcomed him kindly.

"Any foreign player, whether you've got family, whether you're a superstar, whether you're a nobody, whether you're a young kid, it's not easy to come and settle and integrate yourself," Joyce said post-match.
