One of the many great stories of Barcelona’s brilliant season so far is the return of Pedri to his best self. After three years of real struggle with injuries the midfielder is healthy again and playing the most consistent football of his young career, and is an irreplaceable piece of Hansi Flick’s team.
Pedri has two years left on his contract and there are already reports about Barça preparing a new deal for the magician, and sporting director Deco was asked about those reports in an interview this week.
Deco was quick to confirm that he wants Pedri to sign a new deal, and also revealed the player changed his training routine under Flick in order to avoid injuries and return to his best once again.
