New Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has reportedly told the club that Jeremie Frimpong is the one player he wants above all others this summer.
Barcelona have previously been linked with a host of defensive midfielders and left-wingers, but may need a right- back - particularly if Joao Cancelo heads back to Manchester City.
According to RAC1, Flick has decided that the Bayer Leverkusen right-back is his “priority signing” and has told Barcelona to try and make it happen.
Frimpong has just enjoyed a stellar season helping Leverkusen win the double and finished the campaign with 14 goals and seven assists in all competitions.
