Hansi Flick has told Barcelona fans his team “will play differently” against Valencia in their La Liga opener after Monday’s 3-0 defeat to Monaco in the Gamper Trophy.
The new coach saw his team slump to a disappointing loss against the Ligue 1 side and admitted after the game his side hadn’t been good enough.
“In the first minutes we were good and we had chances to score the first, today the speed and passing were not as good as in previous games, we did not have the confidence we had other days, Monaco improved, we tried to change things in the second half but individual errors did not allow us to win,” he told reporters.
