Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is said to be “seriously considering” benching Ronald Araujo and Robert Lewandowski against Valencia in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey.
The Barca boss rotated last time his team played Valencia just a few weeks ago in La Liga and saw his side romp to a 7-1 win.
According to Diario AS, Flick could go with the same starting XI at Mestalla which would mean Araujo and Lewandowski making way. Pedri also did not feature in the 7-1 win thrashing, due to illness, but may start on Thursday.
Flick would therefore go with Eric Garcia alongside Pau Cubarsi in central defence, Fermin Lopez potentially in midfield again and Ferran Torres taking over from Lewandowski.
