Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has revealed a selfless gesture made by Gavi during Sunday’s win over Valencia.
Gavi was one of several players given at rest at Montjuic but Flick did want to bring him on in the second half of the match.
The German coach told a press conference that he wanted Gavi to play the last 15 minutes of the victory but the youngster had other ideas.
Flick: "Lo que más me impresionó fue cuando hablé con Gavi para que entrara y me dijo que 'no, mete a Pablo Torre'.
