FC Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has shown he will persist with his strict disciplinary code, no matter what.
Against Rayo Vallecano, he dropped one of his most trusted soldiers for a youngster who doesn’t play much, all because Jules Koundé was late. Flick has shown he highly rates the Frenchman and plays him in nearly every game, but he did not start after being tardy. Héctor Fort was given the nod, before being subbed off for Koundé in the second half.
“[Being late] is a lack of respect, not for me but for his teammates, the institution, and the fans,” Flick said.
