Barcelona boss Hansi Flick offered an update on Gavi after the midfielder didn’t play a single minute against Real Sociedad on Sunday.
Gavi was named on the bench but did not get any minutes as Barcelona cruised to a 4-0 win over Imanol Alguacil’s side.
Flick said after the game that he had considering starting Gavi in the match but the midfielder wasn’t feeling well and so was effectively ruled out.
“Honestly, I had thought of starting with Gavi, but he felt some discomfort. He wasn’t feeling well and we changed the plan.
