Tuesday brought some good news as Dani Olmo return to training after missing two weeks with a calf issue, and the attacking midfielder’s return comes at a perfect time thanks to the head injury sustained by Gavi during last weekend’s clash with Alavés.
Hansi Flick confirmed in a press conference on Wednesday that Gavi is in concussion protocol and will not be available for the trip, but that Olmo is indeed back and is expected to play some minutes in the second half.
