The Polish striker came off the bench to smash five goals past Wolfsburg in the space of nine minutes and his display left his coach speechless.
Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola was left in disbelief by Robert Lewandowski's five-star performance against Wolfsburg on Tuesday.
With Bayern 1-0 down to Daniel Caligiuri's goal at halftime, Guardiola summoned Lewandowski from the bench, with the Poland international subsequently firing home five goals in a barnstorming run that was officially clocked at eight minutes and 57 seconds.
The Poland international became the first substitute to net five goals in one game in the history of Europe's top four leagues, and Guardiola was visibly baffled, saying it was an incredible and unique achievement.
