Gonzalo Higuain will reportedly not renew his current contract with Napoli, which only has two more years left to run.
Per Italian football writer Adam Digby, the prolific Argentinian's agent said he was not happy with the way he has been treated at the club since he joined from Real Madrid in 2013:
Agent of Gonzalo Higuain says he will not renew his #Napoli contract. Current deal expires June 2018, striker unhappy with "broken promises"
Last season in Serie A, Higuain, 28, scored 36 goals in 35 matches, and he has been linked with a number of top clubs already this summer, per Charlie Phillippe of the Daily Express.
