Glen Johnson officially made the switch to Stoke City on a free transfer from Liverpool on Sunday, as he put pen to paper on a two-year deal at the Britannia Stadium. Squawka Football revealed the news:

The England international spent six years at Anfield after a big-money switch from Portsmouth, establishing himself as the club’s first-choice right-back for many seasons.
Chances were few and far between for Johnson in the 2014/15 campaign, though, and after Liverpool decided not to renew his deal, Stoke came calling.
