AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma received death threats while holding talks with his club over a new contract, according to his agent Mino Raiola.
Per the Mirror's Jack Rathborn, Raiola opened up on the situation after Donnarumma turned down an offer of a €5 million yearly salary:
"We were threatened. Milan have lost Donnarumma. I take the responsibility of his choice. There was an overly hostile and violent situation that was created. Donnarumma was threatened, his family was threatened.
"Threats of not playing, death threats, banners never removed from the management and passive behaviour against us.
