As for Germany, they progressed to the semis by beating Italy on penalties. Joachim Low's side will be without the banned Mats Hummels, while Sami Khedira and Mario Gomez are ruled out through injury.
The winners of the heavyweight clash will face Portugal in Sunday's final.
